James E. Toth, early in his career, worked with Robert D. Vodicka, AIA, and Bowman Development Co.,  with whom he later partnered for numerous early projects, and worked with Mr. Vodicka in the design of the landmark St. Pete Beach, FL landmark hotel.  The hotel featured a shape that maximized views up and down the beach, a main floor large event room, roof top restaurant and rotating table floor bar at the roof level, serviced by an integral multilevel parking deck.  The hotel remains a key landmark on the beach and is often used for beach events.
