Proposed Manatee County Government Administration Building

Manatee County Government sought to consolidate many remote location offices to one central administration building location.  The Historic Courthouse which then housed the County Commission Offices and other county functions was over crowded.  James E. Toth, worked with National Development Corporation of Florida to design the proposed new building on a design, construct and lease back competition which was successfully selected by the County Commission.  The design included the development of a multi story parking facility to serve the building.  The design was later re-worked to expand the original design and was finally completed some years later by NDC during the late 1980's
